Dwain Chambers' appeal was rejected by the UK athletics body. For those that don't know, he is the UK's best 100 metre sprinter who filed a drugs test a few years ago and was banned from the sport for a lengthy time. He kept himself in good shape and returned and qualified for the Olympic games however the UK's Olympic body refuse to let him participate.

What do you guys think?

This topic does have the UK divided. Half say "Once a cheat, always a cheat" and the other half say that "He's paid the price already".

Can we have a poll on the topic in the Poll forum? It would be interesting to see the results and comments!

Hi Toogood, I'm in the "Once a cheat always a cheat camp". What message are you giving to all sportspeople if you allow them a second chance. The money that these people earn mean that there is no second chance.

Therefore, I'm very happy with the ruling that he shouldn't be allowed to run at the Olympics.

Let him run, everyone makes mistakes. He has worked so hard to keep in condition even though he was banned.
