England best price: 10/3 = 4.33
The Draw best price: 7/4 = 2.75
SA best price: 71/50 = 2.42

Time for some bouncebackability :) from England??? With their bowling attack the way it is the have to be a LAY. Saying that, the pitch they are playing on should take more spin so Monty may be in for a few.

SA have played Monty so well this series that I can't see him playing a mahor part in the last 2 tests. He might bag a five wickets in the next test but he will need major back-up from the quicks. Will be interesting to see what England do if they win the toss.

Just read cricinfo site and Pattinson thinks he might get another England cap - dream on son!

Taken from www.cricinfo.com

Darren Pattinson, England's shock selection for the second Test at Headingley, fully expects to make way for Ryan Sidebottom when the squad for the Edgbaston Test is unveiled by the selectors on Saturday morning. But, despite the furore that surrounded his call-up after only 11 first-class games, he doesn't believe that he is destined to remain a one-cap wonder.

The way i see it is south africa will play this as a time game..take alot of time to bat.they are leading the series 1-0 and they will try keep it that way..another hundred from prince should give him player of the series and come on steyn!!!

Yep, I couldn't agree more, SA will bat for as long as they can and try and secure the match. I'm pretty sure they'll bat first this time if they win the toss knowing that Edgbaston is a spinning pitch and you don't want to bat last on it.

Just heard on the tv that Steyn is out for the 3rd and possibly 4th test with a fractured thumb - should make things a little more interesting.

Hmmm, so what's the England team going to be? I saw the 13 man squad - will it be Collingwood and Harmison sitting out?

Stuart Broad dropped and replaced by Collingwood??? That is absurd. I would bat Flintoff at 6 and not 7 and have left Broad in at 8 with Ambrose at 7.

Opinions?

Collingwood failed again in the 1st innings. No one has mentioned Michael Vaughan's form here. Why isn't he the one dropped!

I can't understand how England don't have 6 batsmen and 5 bowlers that they can pick that are on form.

You called it anonymous! Michael Vaughan stepped down as England captain today.

The new captain will be announced tomorrow and Sky News say that it will probably be Kevin Pietersen.

Total respect for MV quitting rather than being pushed out.

Well done SA - great test match and what an innings by Greame Smith. 154no in the 4th innings is legendary.
