The UK Gambling Commission has seized several gambling machines in Oldham because they had been supplied without an operating license. Officers from the Greater Manchester Police and the Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council joined Gambling Commission officers in visiting premises in Chadderton, Oldham. Seven machines were seized immediately, followed by the removal of six others from betting shops in the North West.
