Gateway Casino Construction in Burnaby Coming Along Nicely: Carps & BlackjackThis is a discussion thread · 9 replies Michael Yardley: Last night I got so socking wet in all the rain. After a day on the computer I needed some time out. I had not been down to Gateway Casino for over four months, my local Casino near where I live.I played some craps there, I like playing this game and there where all only two of us at the table. The dealers all know me. I played the Darkside flat beating as I usually do. The other palyer lost over $300 in less then ten minutes playing the Hardways (inside) which you should never do. Beating the Pass Line or Don't's depending whether the table is hot or cold is the only real safe way to play. There where many Chinese players, in fact it was full of them. They where all playing the Slots or card table games. Not many of them play Carps. When the Casino has finished the Show Lounge and Hotel it will be a nice place to visit. I am looking forward to when it is finished. The Blackjack is still hand delete.No machines, so you can get a good game of Blackjack, but you get little deck penetration as they cut out 2.5 decks. Sometimes when it is slow the dealers will only cut out 1.5 decks and you can get a good game if you count cards, which I can do. Go visit Burnaby Gateway Casino you will have a good time. Just came back from the Tulalip casino in Washington and their buffet was pretty good and not expensive like at the River Rock. Anonymous: Sorry to hear about your "socking" by the rain. I hope it heals up and you feel better soon. Those socks can really hurt.It is also too bad that the Blackjack is being "deleted" at the casino. Maybe they will reconsider and add it back in future years. At least there will be "Carps".
