"FIXES"When a scam is down in poker nothing is guaranteed in the very short period. Short period meaning an hour or a few hands. Even when putting in a "cold deck" (the surest guarantee) things can go wrong. A card may be flipped over by accident or a person may leave a table as the hand is being dealt. These are some of the things that can happen with "cold decks" (prearranged deck). Cold decks are also an easy way of being detected, as it takes a card mechanic to deal one.
A person with skills and abilities of catching these types of dealers who soon inform on them so basically the "whole of poker" would know. When we state the "whole of poker," we mean all the rounders and the regulars that are in the casinos day after day. Cold decks are the surest ways to win the money in the shortest possible time. They are also the surest way to get "heat" (pressure from other individuals). This is why they have gone to the same places as the dinosaurs.
They are obsolete. They put pressure on the game. People start thinking things are not legitimate.
Marked cards are the oldest and the best ways to cheat. When using marked cards it is also hard to see the cards the other individuals possess. Knowing one out of two cards in a persons hand is enough of an edge to destroy any individual or group in any period of time. Meaning several hours or more. However if there is only one person playing with the ability to read the cards it makes for more tedious situations. This is why scammers play in packs.
One on one is the ideal situation for marked cards. However, people get reputations and this greatly diminishes one on one games. Now that brings us to ring games. With marked cards in a ring game, one individual playing against the field would have a big advantage no matter what. However, with the presence of two or three other scammers able to read the cards, the advantage keeps going to the next power.
With one person watching 7 or 8 other players cards it is very hard to know more than a few cards that opponents have. However with a pack of
4 strategically placed they can totally annihilate a game in a veryshort period of time. Each scammer would be assigned a single opponents cards. Thus they would be sitting next to the individual to who's cards they wanted to see. Thus the scammers would know what everyone at the table would have in their hands. Each scammer would be responsible for only seeing 2 cards. With subtle gestures and body movements as signals (offices in the cheating world), communication is very simple. Thus within a short period of time you would have a complete annihilation of the competition.
We have stated that when people play in Chip and Doyle's game they never get lucky and win. This is basically impossible. No matter how good some people can be, they are susceptible to losing on given days. However, this never happens in Chip and Doyle's games. The "live ones" never win. The team always gets the money. It doesn't matter that Doyle states he lost X amount, or that Chip lost X amount. We keep stating they play as a pack. Like a pack of hunting dogs. These are the most successful predators in animal history. They hunt and attack as a unit. They almost always use marked cards.
GCA has stated they will be putting traps into their posts. Well, it looks like somebody was caught. GCA has stated in previous posts that around 1995 Stu Unger was getting on the nerves of the cheats in Vegas. He was a cocaine addict with credibility. GCA has stated that John Martino and Bill Nirdlinger where constantly around him at this time. GCA has stated that when Bill Nirdlinger came into possession of "the glasses" he never took them off. The reason is he wanted everyone to accept the fact that he always wore them. Watch the tape of GCA. We have stated that after the opposition compromised Bill Nirdlinger he had to give up the glasses for his own security.
We now go on record as stating the "fix was in 1996." However, Stu Unger still had to get lucky to win in the 1996 WSOP $10,000 tournament. Stu didn't get lucky enough. He probably didn't play well enough with the marked cards in. Marked cards were in the 1996 WSOP $10,000 final. Stu Unger didn't play well enough that day to garner his advantage. He wasn't hungry enough.
As GCA has stated, having marked cards in, will win all the money in a short period of time. However the circumstances must be right. In tournament play such as no-limit, Stu Unger could see that he had the best hand, yet if the person went all in on a draw he could lose. Thus he learned. Stu Unger was not a student of marked cards. He had to adapt. In 1997 he did.
1996 had taught him a lesson about playing marked cards. It taught hima different style. Just because you have the best hand does not mean you put all your chips into the pot. Marked cards are for betting and raising on the river. 1996 taught Stu Unger he must slow down and wait until the river. He had to have some luck also.
Marked cards have the most advantage in pot limit games. This makes for fewer showdowns and almost guarantees a bet on the river. The fewer times you show your cards the better. There is a lot of luck in poker. Especially when people are World Class Players. There are too many coin flips in the game. In 1996-97 when Stu Unger competed in the WSOP $10,000 event with marked cards, he was still a slight underdog.
However if he waited for the river before making the big bets he would have a bigger advantage. Both years he was put into "tables where he was dumped chips." In 1997 he had to win. 1996 the "boys" were still carrying him since the Regency was just over. Here Huck Seed, Phil Hellmuth and many other young players as well as older players were slaughtered. This kept the cheats and Stuey more content. Stuey Unger was basically "blackmailing the cheats."
So to the people who say that Stu Unger was wearing the COBALT BLUE GLASSES in 1996, I thank you. He had to make it his trademark since he couldn't wear contact lenses. He had to have the credibility of always wearing the same glasses. CREDIBILITY.
Just because marked cards are in a tournament does not mean you are going to win it. If you are a WCP it just gives you one hell of an advantage. The FIX WAS IN . 1996 1997 One out of two isn't bad.
Stu also used these same glasses for other cheating. He had to make them his trademark to divert suspicion. He was to addicted to cocaine he couldn't wear contact lenses. Same thing as Bill Nirdlinger. Bill had blue eyes. The contact lenses are good for people with dark eyes. This way you wouldn't go from a "blue eyed boy" to a "what's going on"?
