Malta's Go Mobile internet down all day

Malta's internet bandwith and traffic was severely disrupted for almost 12 hours today due to a fault which developed in the Malta-Sicily Go Mobile cable

I'm sure that many iGaming companies were affected due to this. I read that the government there is looking at putting a couple of emergency systems in place so that if the event reoccurs there will be a good back-up plan.

Fortunately, those of us who were using Vodafone as primary link were completely unaffected. Great news for me that my home ISP also has dual homed connections via Vodafone too.
