[nq:2]6. Sierra Nevada - All their beer is top notch, but the ale is special.[/nq]
[nq:1]Not much argument from me. I really don't like this stuff off the tap, though, unless it's really fresh. After a few days, it gets a little skunky.[/nq]
?? Have your bar check there lines.
[nq:1]I've also found this beer to be much better when it's very cold...serve it up warm and it's almost undrinkable.[/nq]
Horsecrap.
[nq:1]Not on your list (or anyone else's): Full Sail (Pale, Amber or IPA): These were my favorites early this year, ... body to it. I'll rank these as my Number 1's, with Sierra and Anchor down the ladder a few rungs.[/nq]
Full Sail bigger than SN? No way. FS is bland and insipid.
[nq:1]Red Hook IPA: Almost sweet for an IPA. I like this one on real super hot days.[/nq]
Formerly good. Now just a shadow of itself.

[nq:2]Colt 45 Crazy Horse Red Bull St. Eides and Shlitz[/nq]
[nq:1]..oh wait, sorry..I thought the topic was best forms of liquid crack... I like Yeungling, Lebatts and MGD.[/nq]
Your second list isn't much better.

[nq:1]Labatts Blue Molson Canadian O'Keefe "Hi Test" Moosehead Kokanee Fine Canadian beer! (Caution..one Canadian beer equals two Mexican beer, almost double the alcohol, with the O'Keefes even stronger than that..that stuff will do ya' in!)[/nq]
That's the only thing you Canadian's ever talk about the high alcohol content. Never the taste. And you didn't even list the only Canadian brewery with both - Unibroue.

[nq:2]Stone Ruination IPA (or 5th Anniversary IPA)[/nq]
[nq:1]I like the Stone IPA, but I find the flavor a bit too much in theRuination IPA[/nq]
Yeah, but I'm a Hophead, so it suits me. Usually. But I know what you mean.
[nq:2]Stone Arrogant (and Double Arrogant)[/nq]
[nq:1]The and Double are two of my favorites[/nq]
Yum, almost Double time.

[nq:1]Somehow, both the New Belgium Brewing Company Emotion: computer and the Magic Hat Brewery (VT)have been neglected.[/nq]
Don't know about Magic Hat, but NBB is overrated.
[nq:1]Try a Fat Tire if you're in Denver[/nq]
No thanks. Had it enough to know I don't need to have it anymore.

Im not sure what you are asking me. Are you saying a huge cab does not go with food? A big cab goes great with a big steak. A big zin is made for venison. They all go good with cheese, olives and bread. Desert wine, Port, Sherry and Madiera are better on their own IMO but are eaten with food all the time.
If you were saying that big wines do go with food so big beers should too, I agree. But the Christmas Beers and the Barlywine style Clebration Ale are too big for most food. A big beer like Chimay, Orval, Guiness are great with food, not too sweet, not too anything, just big. But the Anchor Christmas and the Celebration from Sierra Nevada just bring TOO much to the table for me. But knock yourself out. I have never tried it, but I bet some simple noodles with olive oil, garlic and a little parmesean would go well with the Celebration Ale.

[nq:2]Sadly, I've never had Bass on tap. Only bottled. I've ... guy has hundreds of different makes and models of beers.[/nq]
[nq:1]It's a live beer. It may not travel well.[/nq]
That's what I figured, and even if they did export it, they'd probably change it. And nothing's ever as good from a bottle as it is from the tap.

As far as the English stuff, I really enjoy Bass Pale Ale, it's one of my all around favorites (English or otherwise), and Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale. I also like Boddingtons Ale. My only experience is here in the states, I've never been to England.

Hmm. I love this beer. But I'm sure you're wrong about the last part. In Massachusetts, you can't do this while driving (just ask my parole officer).
[nq:1]1. Samuel Adams Without a doubt the best all around beer. You can drink this anytime, anyplace.[/nq]
