John B: Taking a shotGroup: rec.gambling.craps Date: Fri, Apr 30, 2010, 7:16pm (CDT-2) From: (Email Removed) (Mr.=A0V) I usually play a tight place betting the six and eight, press, regress and hope for the best, but only rarely do I come close to doubling my buy in, which is frustrating. I want action, baby. So I am thinking of varying my play a bit, trying three way craps bets, $2 each, and if it hits, parlay the winnings. Yeah, I know, the math says it's a bad bet but hey, none of us will live forever. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D I play what I call my "LOTTO" bet quite oten. Place the 6-8 for $6 each ($12 each on a $10 table), take the first hit down on each bet, then parlay 4 times and down. With a fairly small bankroll and taking the first hit down, I usually get quite a few shots at a string of 6-8s. I have had some pretty good wins with it..but then I probably have "selective memory" about it too! JB
