Apparently the best poker players are Tight-Aggressive players. What is the best way to play against them?

Try playing them at their own game. Solid players are tight-agressive ones. Raise slightly more than the pot odds would be for your opponent then they will be left with the tough decisions to make and not you. Put pressure on them by getting your money in their first.

I find that solid players usually get scared by check-raises by tight players. Try to get a reputation as a rock at the table and then show agression. You'll have the tight-aggressive player with their back against the wall.

I play the players, not the cards.

Agreed, play them at their own game, pick your spot and re-raise.
