UIGEAThis is a discussion thread · 3 replies I never understood the reason behind the UIGEA. As far as I know, the law was passed banning payment processing companies from allowing transactions to and from igaming companies. Why not just ban online gambling instead? Also, as far as I know the law does not apply to horse racing? Why? It seems like a strange law and is there any chance of it getting changed in the near future? Anonymous: George Bush making another intellegent decision??? I'm not sure what the new candidates views are of online gaming but I think common sense will come in eventaually and the ban will be lifted.
