Recently I posted some simulation results from three scenarios Alan posited in which the bankroll became more and more under funded, with odds adding volatility. Here is the table (use a fixed-space font): Simulation of Craps Pass Line Wagers Odds Multiplier . . . . = 3x, 4x, 5x Session Bankroll . ....

Suppose a casino is going to book 35,000 passline bets of one unit, and will take on as many players as necessary to complete the 35,000 bets, so no bankroll consideration is necessary. If one player goes broke, the next steps up. What can the casino expect? The net outcome, for both the casino and the...

ACDOC mentioned an optimum amount of time for a session of different kinds of bets. I don't think you can ever really use time in simulation. If you use rolls you have three problems: 1. The number of rolls per unit time varies considerably with casinoconditions 2. In a program or a simulator, if...

My order for SimCraps finally arrived today. I started to experiment with some of the simulations but maybe I'm doing something wrong, I can't ever see any statistics from the in the View > Statistics menu. Maybe I'm missing the obvious. I also didn't seem to find a forum dedicated...

craps is a negative expectation game. the more you play, the more you will lose. the only way to win at craps is NOT with math but with altering the randomness of the dice. you can quote all the simulations you want... but they won't help you win.

What is the "expected value" of one roll of two dice? How do we figure that, and what does it actually mean? Of what value is it to us? We're all familiar with the pyramid-shaped "perfect 36" distribution of the dice outcomes based on the sum of the pips on the tops of two dice...

(Email Removed) (SteveF) "John B" imputes the following: Unless the 16-20 ratio changes, there is no way that two fields in a row has the same probability as two non fields. JB Are you sure? Would you care to place a wager on that bold assertion? How about I pay you $1000 if you can prove the...
