There is no other way than to play the hand quite aggressively. Anyone calling or reraising an aggressive raise early in a tournament can hav nothing other than a monster. You'll soon know where you stand with an aggrssive raise!

and to clarify... when I say slow play I am not referring to the 'slow play' tactic when you try and draw a player in, I actually mean the English definition of the term playing slowly!

They are just trying to wind you up with their slow play I think. There is no other logical or sensible answer to this question. It's just plain stupid.

Hmmm, extremely reluctantly. He has proven himself as a player but he takes it way too far. If I were playing against him, I'd probably punch him eventually. I can't stand people who trash talk but he takes it to the extreme.

Thanks for the advice guys - it's not something I've ever considered doing but it has always been a dream. I don't think it would be as much fun as many think as the pressure to suceed would be immense.

As long as it's close at the end I don't care who wins. Last season had drama all the way and was won in the final race. I hope it's the same this season.
